Hey! We played “Pieced Together” a video game demo on Steam!
Link to the Utopia survey mentioned.
Skip intro: 2:30m. The above audio (not transcribed, sor(-t-)/r/y!) is abo(-i-)ut the game “Pieced Together” a scrapbooking game, that proved a little bigger than my laptop could handle. It stirred up memories and I felt q(-i-)/u/ite pleased about it. I was (-r-)/t/ired.
RATING:
While quantifying the value of creative works of inspiration is pretty basic and passe, we’ll still “Label” things with some hopefully permissive categories!
Gameplay:
This review is written some we(-a-)eks after playing. The gam(-r-)/e/play was laggy and un(-o-)pleas(-n-)a/n/t. My computer couldn’t handle it and I felt left out.
I keep having trouble trying to play games.
Look/Feel:
The game has mild cartoon, muted style from memory and it w(-w-)/a/s pleasant.
Education:
The game caused me to reflect on my childhood memories, miraculou(-r-)sly preserved by my mother. I also reflected on my history with games after the revelation that my comm(-m-)itment to games despite not being my preferred medium stemmed from my teenage years and the circumstances of my unhousi(-j-)/n/g. The game makes me reflect on these things and others would too and so it is edifyin(-b-)g about the precious present of memories.
Relevance:
From what I saw, this game would help you explore memories and life which are always /r/elevant experiences and endeavours.
OVERALL:
This was not pleasant for me and I was tired. But I am gla(-f-)/d/ of the trifecta of games I sparingly chose. Between “Vampire Therapist”, “Monster Prom” and “Pieced Together” I believe these were all aweso(-k-)me sources of inspiration. There was something left wanting for me in each but there wer(-r-)e benefici(-q-)/a/l aspects to all. And it made for some goo(-r-)/d/ content!
