I found out anyway and it is like $2000, $300 these types of USD prices. It is criminalizing those who cannot afford those US prices at a time where global south individuals are being criminalized as groups. They need to get their act together. This is so unrealistic and so disrespectful because you are making laws you cannot enforce for things that would happen anyway because we are free. The choice to do that is something we are free to do, want to do and should be able to do. The hypocrisy around it instead of integrating it.
The PNP (People’s National Party of Jamaica) got a half-measure pushed through for decriminalization and that is why no one votes. The opposing party can only push through half-measures. I am sure fellow North Americans can relate.
It is not like any other substances. It is its own thing. It is unacceptable to enforce criminality, as a feeling* with a plant that so affects your psyche and sense of self. It is really unfortunate. Just free up the thing, it doesn’t work as well and has ill-health effects under restriction. You have a smoke a day or so on average if you partake I am guessing if you average out all smokers. And then where does that come from? Oh! Mystery! No! Unknowns! It is diametrically opposed to the job of the plant which is to bring you to a flow state. A certain frequency. The path to it is affected by the surroundings. $2000 USD to someone who knows how to grow and wants to work, wants to make a living, knows they’re doing something positive. What is your deal? You are MAKING it negative. You are MAKING it negative. That is what criminalization or unrealistic barriers to entry do. Unrealistic and unkind barriers to entry.
Or forcing you to buckle to a bank and risk your property and do what? Possibly end up without a home.
