Instead of buying in weed membrane for my new raised beds, I used some leaves from a palm I was cutting back. This goes at the bottom to suppress weeds before I put in the compost.

Found a cat scratching post and outdoor shelter for free on my walk. Collected them and then took them on my cargo bike to a cat rescue centre.
