Unpaid Level – Polls
Right now, if you’re an unpaid member, you’re only getting access to the posts we unlock for everyone, but in this new structure, you would be able to access a monthly poll that we intend to run in order to see what things we agree on as a movement and to reassure each other in our solidarity or raise issues worth looking into. We will sometimes discuss results on the podcast for particularly interesting findings.
$1.75 Level – Polls, verified checkmark on fastfrwrd.info
I wish this could have stayed at $1, but apparently we need to charge more than $1.50 at the lowest CAD level. Sigh.Anyway, this pledge point will have access to the monthly poll, as well as gaining you a verified checkmark on your fastfrwrd.info user account (if you have one or decide to make one). This checkmark makes it easier for you to make use of irl (in real life) fastfrwrd benefits, such as house-sharing possibilities, dating like-minded users, intentional community creation, and other adult-only activities.
$3 – Polls, general co-working, verified checkmark on Fastfrwrd
This level gets you both of the above perks PLUS an invite to a weekly general co-working time, hosted by myself or Aleya (Ariel is in EST or EDT; Aleya is in UTC -5:00, which is just one hour behind Ariel). This will be an hour (or a few) every week where you can come hang out and work on your own projects, like at a study or writing group. Sometimes, this is called “body-doubling” – for me, it’s a method of keeping myself focused on the task at hand because that is what I am “supposed” to be doing. It just works for my brain!
We will be doing a poll soon so that members who are interested can give their availabilities, and we’ll schedule from there 🙂
$5 – All the above + shoutout/fave solarpunk thing to do clip
This level will allow you to access the previously described perks as well as the ability to send in a 2-min maximum voice clip (or text for one of us to read, if you prefer) to either shout out a climate-related person/place/action that really inspires you on your solarpunk journey, or share your personal favourite solarpunk thing to do currently (doesn’t have to be of all time! Opinions change!)Each episode, I or Aleya will choose to read/play your submissions – and don’t worry, we’ll be ensuring that each one gets its due airtime.
If you choose to send an audio file, please save it in .mp3 format and submit it through the new email address we will prepare in due time and send to you.
$7 – All the above + playlist of the month + occasional reviews of books and podcasts
This level will allow you to access an exclusive solarpunk or lunarpunk playlist of the month, curated by Aleya, as well as to read and access occasional reviews of books and podcasts that Ariel and Aleya will post.
$10 – All the above + Lunarpunk roulette
This level’s new perk is what we like to call Lunarpunk Roulette. Each month, Aleya will spin the Lunarpunk Roulette wheel and find out which lunarpunk activity you get to partake in. Aleya will arrange the options, which can include some or all of the following:
+ a trip-sitting evening
+ a lunarpunk tarot card readingan accessible game night
+ a discussion of sensuality and other adult topics that come up in a lunarpunk world
+ lunarpunk bedtime stories
+ sharing recent dreams and interpreting them
Once the lunarpunk roulette wheel has picked your prize, you can experience it with the rest of this level’s members and above (such as organizing an accessible games night, or having a large discussion, or a group dream interpretation) or, if you are very shy, things like lunarpunk tarot card readings, dream interpretations and trip-sittings can be one-on-one with Aleya by sending a DM.
$15 – all the above plus 15 Dews fastfrwrd.info
This level’s added perk is a one-time top-up of 15 Dews on fastfrwrd.info, which will enable you to play games, purchase from the store, and hire services offered by other users.
$20 – All of the above perks + advanced tester status
Something I have been toying with for years now is a Solarpunk Presents line of merch – I’ve done a lot of research into merch companies that choose ethical, sustainable materials and have transparent supply chains and also don’t use a ton of fossil fuels or water to fabricate/ship their merch. So I would like to start generating merch, but I would also like feedback on it before releasing it to the general public. If you’d like to be one of the first to get merch, to try it out and post advance reviews, this is the tier for you.
We also have some other offerings we would like to test out, including low-impact recipes (that may need testing to see if the portions work, for example) and comparing results, A/B testing for Fastfrwrd website changes, testing storylines for fastfrwrd games “Food MD” and “Solubrious” and “The Stellar Lunarpunk TTRPG” etc., as well as DIY merch schematics. Will you be our friendly guinea pigs? It means that you get first previews of new things brewing! Sometimes you will even have to tick a very simple and readable privacy declaration so you don’t share spoilers…
