BILLIONS SURVIVE One Room, Many Worlds Jam Doc

Idea 1: the type of game where you have to find/collect stuff in different dimensions until mission is complete (for example to escape fate of being locked in the same room with different visuals, room switching itself in every 20 seconds let’s say). collect 30 gems that would unlock the door. – like hidden object game. (Be warned hidden object games need a LOT of assets, its risky but interesting)

Idea 2: A person on their death bed going through their memories of this house/room. A lil melancholic but could be fun for the writers. More kinetic novel like tbh.

Idea 3: a tech billionaire just got big from a really resource intensive technology and they move into a new house. The house however was underpriced, why because it’s kind of a trap. The architect hated his rich clients and thought they all got rich off destroying the earth. The house has some ___ that causes the living room to transforn into something blank and it teaches some kind of lesson.

The billionaire is transported to another dimension in the center of a world tree covered in vines (through Sol technology) where everything outside the safety of the tree root room in the nature has died out due to resource intensive and exploitative tech and it is nearly uninhabitable and toxic. The only way back before ‘dimensional fatigue’ takes over is to give up your wealth on the computer in the world tree roots and vines room. Your body is made for its own dimension, the pressure of different dimensions causes atoms and molecules from other dimensions to break down. You have 2 weeks. But you also have a plan. You will be getting a big influx of money in two weeks. Just as long as it takes for dimensional fatigue to start. If you can survive that long, giving up all the money the architect thinks you have will mean you won’t be out on the streets or starting from scratch because you obviously can’t stay in that house anymore. So you need a new house and you already paid a pretty penny for this one even if it was underpriced for what it was.

So you have to survive two weeks.

Win condition: You keep some money, you spend on some good causes, you return to your dimension

Lose condition: Two weeks pass, you cannot leave this dimension, or you end up totally hopeless and have nothing

Health bar: https://twinery.org/cookbook/statichealthbars/sugarcube/sugarcube_statichealthbars.html

Easier to code: Each choice affects needs bars manually, not automatically with link to time

Ideal: Health, thirst, sleep and hunger should work based on timer and sleep should affect timer.

Timed passages: https://twinery.org/cookbook/timedpassages/sugarcube/sugarcube_timedpassages.html

Easier to code: Each passage can be a day and have time taken off the timer for ease of use. Each day you start with less and less time in countdown to Dimensional Fatigue. The time can go down further due to sleep time?

Ideal: Timer counts down continuously across scenes DONE.
